3. Data Collection on Our Website
Web Hosting and Provision of the Website (Use of Smoobu)
Our website is operated and hosted via the website builder of Smoobu GmbH (Wriezener Str. 12, 13055 Berlin, Germany).
When you visit our website, information that your browser transmits to the server is automatically collected (so-called server log files). This includes your browser type, the operating system used, the previously visited page (referrer URL), the time of the request, and your IP address.
The collection of this data is based on Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in a technically error-free presentation and optimization of our website). We have concluded a data processing agreement (DPA/AVV) with Smoobu GmbH in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.
Booking Portal and Online Check-in
We use the integrated booking system and the online check-in function of Smoobu on this website. If you make a holiday booking via our portal or use the online check-in, all data entered by you into the form (e.g., name, address, e-mail address, travel dates, contact details, as well as uploaded ID documents for the Portuguese authorities) will be transmitted directly to Smoobu's servers and stored there.
The processing of this data is based on Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b GDPR (processing for the fulfillment of a contract or pre-contractual measures).
E-mail Communication and Contact (Use of netcup)
If you contact us by e-mail (via our address mail@madeira-sunset.de), your details including your e-mail address and the message will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and for any follow-up questions.
The technical provision of our e-mail mailboxes and the receipt of messages take place via the servers of our IT service provider netcup GmbH (Daimlerstraße 25, 76185 Karlsruhe, Germany). Processing is carried out to implement pre-contractual measures or to fulfill a contract (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b GDPR). We have concluded a data processing agreement (DPA/AVV) with netcup GmbH in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.
